Many pioneer women are having sex. Many have done it for years and have secrets. Sex in the org is a hot but hidden topic. Most people always tell at least one person.

It is incredible that we are from all over the earth, but had the same feelings about 1995. I am sure that MANy still attending feel the same way.
Also, an evil apostate had a sign at the assembly citing a WT in 1968 about 1975. I went to the KH library and read the article. That was also a turning point for me.
Now I sincerely accept the grace doctrine as well. I do not try to EARN my salvation.

When I read the issue it was like the light came on (I saw a tunnel with a bright light and a 100' Jesus)
I could not believe it. I talked to others and they were very non-chalant. I said this is a MAJOR change and I am the only one that noticed. Did they use coded ink that only I could read? This was a traumatic time in my life.
I recall when my grandfather died in 1984 (born 1906) and grandmother died in 1993 (born 1912), I began to question the generation teaching. The change came in 95' without an apology or anything. I unofficially STOPPED believing in the org. If they are spirit-directed, was the spirit wrong? I understood that all religions are man-made, the witnesses are no different. Fortunately in the churches, you have the right to disagree without getting kicked out.

Save my soul - that has to be one of the most shocking stories I have heard. Regardless of who was in the car they are required by law to stop.
There were other people around. This was in a populated area of Metropolitan Los Angeles. It was just surprising that I did not see them again during the entire time I was at the intersection. I think they selected another territory to avoid contact.
I had a flashy car in a poor area. I was formerly a pioneer. Now I was materialist and evil because I worked hard and missed meetings. The key elder would literally call me the prodical son. He died recently and I recalled this incident.

On one of the many times I was inactive (not DF, just inactive), I saw a group of elders in FS. They have known me since birth. A car hit mine and I flipped over. They kept driving.
I went to the memorial that year, 3 months later. They told me how they missed me and loved me and wanted me back. No mention was ever made of the wreck.

the first time i missed the memorial, i was sick and couldn't go, and felt guilty because that meeting was so important.. then another year, i missed again, this time i wasn't sick.
i still felt guilty, because i still believed in the religion to a certain extent.
i didn't go because i didn't want to go back to the meetings, and feel trapped once more.. maybe some feel guilty that they aren't doing anything for the memorial or easter, depending which religion you think is right, because after all jesus did say to remember him..
I usually try to work. I haven't gone in MANY years. It has no significance. I honor Jesus and his father every day by my life course. I know many that will attend are terrible people. Are they better than me because they attend?
I missed as a teenager because my ride was late, so I sat through a spanish memorial, not understanding a word.

what was your first impression of 'worldly people'?.
I met several people who were extremely selfless, loving and compassionate. I got to know many people who (despite not going to any church) have a deep concern for God, and living an honest moral life.
Many of these "worldly" people helped me and comforted me through my emotional trials and personal crisises in ways that JWs never were able to do.
This is the incredible thing. They do not care about your FS time or meeting attendance. Many are good friends. Witnesses are the best (conditional ) friends in the world.

At 18 I was still pioneering. I started working a construction job. People would smoke and curse, but they were just normal people. They were not these evil Worldings as I had thougt. Just normal people trying to make a living.
I was surprised. The veil was off. I had never had a relationship with worldly people before other than FS.

I love Passions!!! Never missed it for the last 5 years.
it's not even april yet, and the watchtower society is revving up it's change at an alarming pace.. this year, the changes have all been big.. first, they announce that there will be two editions of the watchtower - a private edition for members only with only the study articles in and a public edition with no articles.
the 24 elders may be involved in communicating divine truths to the governing body.
the long held teaching that 1935 is the cutoff date for selection and gathering of the anointed has gone the way of the 1914 generation change in a convenient "questions from readers" article.. you cannot wear casual clothes after the convention, even if going out to eat.. .
The end is sooo close......it is almost time to pass out the kool aid.
